Trimmable Border Tiles: Easy to Cut and Install along Ceiling Edges

Most rooms are not perfectly square, and neither are their ceilings. In both glue-up and suspended ceiling tile installations of this type there will be an area along the edges of the ceiling that will not fit the full width of a tile.

In drop ceiling installations this will result in the grid squares along the edge of the ceiling being less than 2ft. x 2ft. (or 2ft. x 4ft. if suspended ceiling panels are being installed), and if you are mounting tiles directly to your ceiling, there will be a border area which will require that tiles be cut to size before they are installed. Enter trimmable border tiles to save the day!

Trimmable border tiles are those ceiling tile styles that have been designed with patterns that neither project or recess substantially, and can be trimmed easily to fit along the edge of a ceiling. They are also referred to as "edge ceiling tiles", "filler tiles", and "edge trim".
