Using Ceilume Ceiling Tile Adhesive, apply a thin line of glue along the perimeter of the ceiling tile and another in the center. Apply extra adhesive to any high relief areas and then press the tile firmly into place. The joints between the ceiling tiles will need to be covered by decorative strips.

Glue-Up installations require the use of Decorative Strips to cover the joints where your ceiling tiles come together. Decorative Strips are 2ft. long, have a self-adhesive back, and come in convenient bundles of 25 strips. Anticipate an average of one bundle for every ten 2ft. x 2ft. ceiling tiles to make those tile joints disappear!
Tiles cannot be installed directly to popcorn ceiling surfaces. It is recommended that the rough finish of the ceiling be removed, leaving the existing drywall exposed. A new layer of drywall can also be installed over the popcorn finish.
